Candida

Q. I am continuing to run across people either with candida or candidates that are 'knocking on it's door'. What do you suggest that can be done to 'best' get a handle on such situations?

A. Once one understands all of the factors that contribute to candida overgrowth, it's easy to see that candida will respond very well to the entire Baseline of Health.

First of all, understand that everyone has candida. Candida is a fungus that is all around us. It is found on the skin, in the mouth, the gut, the vaginal area, and, in fact, on all mucus membrane tissue. Problems occur when the normal population grows out of control. What causes this accelerated growth?

Quite simply, if the probiotic cultures that normally live in these areas are compromised, it creates a vacuum that candida is only too happy to fill. The key is what causes these cultures to become compromised. Lessons from the Miracle Doctors spends an entire chapter devoted to this topic.

Typical problems include:
° Chlorinated water
° Antibiotics in our food and administered by doctors
° Accumulated fecal matter in the colon
° Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil and Motrin
° Cigarettes and alcohol Radiation and chemo
° A compromised immune system
° etc. etc. etc.

The bottom line, then, is that if you want to eliminate candida overgrowth, you have to put all of the major systems in your body back into alignment.

That means:
° You want to drink lots of filtered or distilled water
° You want to change your diet.
° Cut back on meats and fats because they promote the growth of harmful bacteria.
° Eliminate all meat, chicken, and dairy that contain antibiotics
° Cut out the cigarettes and alcohol
° Do a colon detox
° Use the AlliPro
° Use the N-Zyme
° Use the Immunity Plus
° Use lots and lots of Flu Buster because it specifically attacks the candida Etc. Etc. Etc.
